Volvo is once again the vehicle of ‘Choice’

Lancashire based operator, Travellers Choice has taken delivery of nine new Volvo B11R Jonckheere coaches adding to an existing fleet of almost 150, of which nearly 90 per cent are built on the Volvo chassis.

John Shaw, Managing Director of Travellers Choice said: “When considering the addition of new vehicles to our extensive fleet, we looked no further than Volvo. We bought our first Volvo coach in 1977 and have had a very strong association with the manufacturer ever since.

“We took delivery of the first new B11R JHV2, when it made its debut at Euro Bus Expo last year. At Travellers Choice, we have always trusted Volvo and we know that we have a good support system behind us with their dealer network. We would happily recommend Volvo to anyone looking to buy a new coach.

“Our vehicles will be used for tours across the UK and Europe, so we needed a coach that would offer excellent fuel economy and exceptional levels of comfort for our passengers.

“While we’ve selected all nine vehicles on the Volvo B11R chassis, they are specified with different bodywork, features and benefits, so that we have a varied and flexible offering for our customers.”
