Colin Dudley, Managing Director for Three Star (Luton) Ltd, explained: “This is the third Volvo coach we have specified in the last three years.
“Volvo with Sunsundegui bodywork was selected for the previous two purchases. This is the first time we have specified Jonckheere bodywork and it was great to have the opportunity to travel to Belgium to the Jonckheere factory to see our coach being built as part of a product familiarisation trip.
“As this coach will be covering a large amount of mileage on our touring work it was important that we invested in a vehicle we can trust to be reliable and fuel efficient. Our fleet of 17 is mainly Volvo and we intend to keep it this way.”

Three Star Coaches’ Volvo B11R comes with 53 seat capacity and includes all the many features designed to make coach travel a relaxing, comfortable and safe experience for the passengers.
The company runs a fleet from its new operating centre in Sundon Park, Luton providing coach hire and day tours. The new coach will also be used for day trips around the UK and France.
