The two new coaches are to be used predominantly for corporate work by Doigs of Glasgow and have been made to a very high specification and include full leather reclinable seats, TV screens, an on-board toilet, a fridge and hot drink servery. One coach is a 36 seater and the second has a 30 seat capacity, having been adapted to accommodate large conference style tables for the convenience and comfort of passengers.
Iain Forsyth, Director for Doigs of Glasgow, explains: “We wanted two mid-sized coaches, but with all the quality features and benefits of a larger coach and found the B7R ideally met our requirements.
“We’re extremely pleased with the new coaches and both the drivers and our customers are very impressed with the standard and finish of the B7Rs. We believe Volvo has taken a major step-up in terms of the quality of its vehicles in recent years, which was why we were happy to look to them to purchase our two new coaches.

The new Volvo B7R coaches delivered to Doigs of Glasgow are fitted with Volvo’s 7 litre diesel engine which is capable of 290 hp and also has a low impact on the environment. It is available with automatic or automated manual gearbox and Volvo’s proven rigid front suspension provides excellent comfort and handling.
