Dave takes over responsibility for Ireland from James Hyde, who will now be utilising his time to focus on the wider geographical areas required in his role as Coach Sales Manager UK & Ireland.
Having joined Volvo in 1990, Dave has established himself as a well-known face in the industry. He began his Volvo career working as an apprentice coach builder at the Loughborough facility and then took on a key role as Customer Services Manager when Volvo Bus opened its Coventry facility in 2010.
James Hyde said: “Dave brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge of Volvo to our sales effort in Ireland and as he is already very well known to many of our customers, he was the natural candidate for this role. His coach body and technical expertise is second to none and this adds value to our customer offer in Ireland. We are looking to improve on our sale successes from 2014 where we have enjoyed a market share in excess of 54%.
