Volvo Bus demonstrate technology and product development at Euro Bus Expo 2012

Demonstrating the latest technology and product development the Volvo Bus stand at this week’s Euro Bus Expo features three new vehicles, in addition to the popular and proven Volvo 9700 Prestige Plus coach.

Launched at the show is Volvo’s new 7900H bus, the company’s first complete hybrid single deck for the UK and Ireland. Promising reliability, high performance and fuel economy, the environmentally friendly 7900H is sure to draw visitor attention.

Equally impressive is the official unveiling of the new Volvo B11R exhibited in the new Jonckheere coach and the 13 metre Sunsundegui options, with all new SC7 body. A third specialised variant, a three axle interdecker is also displayed on the Plaxton stand at Euro Bus Expo.

Executive coach travel is promoted with a tri-axle 13 metre Volvo 9700 Prestige Plus coach, which features updated Volvo TS2000 Comfort Plus seating for 53/55 passengers. In the external display area outside the main hall is a 12.3 metre two axle version of the Volvo 9700 Prestige Plus.

Volvo Bus continues the roll-out of its digital information technology with the introduction of an Android App for mobile phones. This complements existing dedicated iPhone and iPad Apps and all will be demonstrated throughout the show.
