Aftermarket initiatives from Volvo designed to save operators money

The latest aftermarket initiatives from Volvo Bus, conceived to save operators time and money whilst fully maximising the capabilities of vehicles, have been announced ahead of the Euro Bus Expo show at the NEC in Birmingham (2 - 4th November).

Volvo’s “Pic ‘n’ Mix” maintenance promotion offers a comprehensive range of health checks carried out by industry leading Volvo Frontline Technicians at workshops throughout the UK and Eire. Operators are presented with an assortment of choices, allowing them to “scoop” the best deal for their business and their vehicles.

The wide range of preventive vehicle health checks available from Volvo are designed to help operators ensure that their vehicles are in peak condition at all times. Under the new, attractively priced, Pic ‘n’ Mix initiative, operators select any two maintenance health checks (priced at £75 ex VAT per check) from a choice of six options and receive a bonus third check of their choice absolutely free.

Designed specifically by Volvo to save operators costly downtime, the new Pic ‘n’ Mix health check options include; battery testing, brake testing, tachograph checks, emission level testing, coolant checks and cooling system testing.

An alternative selection to Pic ‘n’ Mix is the Volvo ‘Fitted Price’ promotion, which provides operators with an extra health check, free of charge, when they spend over £450 (ex VAT)

Prompt and cost effective, Volvo aftermarket care is also of the very highest standard with trained Volvo Technicians providing a top quality service utilising the very latest in workshop technology, whilst following recognised Volvo designed service and repair techniques.

Volvo’s aftermarket quality guarantee means that whenever Genuine Volvo parts are fitted by Volvo Technicians, the length of an operator’s warranty is automatically doubled on parts and labour and additional roadside assistance added.

Upfront from the beginning, the Volvo aftermarket team make sure operators know exactly how much the work will cost, without any unexpected extras being tagged on.

With care of the environment being one of Volvo’s core values, all displaced fluids and waste materials collected during aftermarket care are completely disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.

“The Euro Bus Expo show provides us with an excellent opportunity to explain our new aftermarket initiatives to operators, who may not have been aware of some of the excellent offers we now have available,” explained Volvo Bus Customer Care Director, Andy Kunze.

“Pic ‘n’ Mix, for example, is perfect for operators looking to bag a great deal and maintain the high standards of their vehicles”, he continued. “Whilst our aftermarket care is second to none and guarantees operators complete peace of mind”.
