Another addition for AAA

AAA Coaches of Edinburgh have just taken delivery of another Volvo – this time a B12B with Jonckheere bodywork - which will be undertaking touring work for a new private client.

The new vehicle will certainly guarantee touring in comfort. Specified with Volvo’s fuel efficient 12 litre DH12E engine - rated at 420hp - coupled to the I-Shift gearbox, it is fitted with 51/53 seats, all with luxurious leather trim and three point belts. Passengers also enjoy the benefit of full climate control, central demountable toilet, CD/DVD player and hot and cold drinks facilities.

“For our new client we wanted a vehicle which was both luxurious and attractive, but also completely reliable, and the B12B is ideal in all respects,” commented Transport Manager, Linda Sutherland.

Longstanding Volvo customers, AAA Coaches have a mix of different Volvo chassis and body combinations in their 14-strong coach fleet, and their reason for coming back to Volvo is simple.

“We like Volvos,” explained Linda. “They make up half of our fleet and one of the great benefits of buying Volvo is the back up you get. Volvo Truck and Bus Centre Scotland at Broxburn look after us really well. We rarely have problems, but whenever we have the slightest concern about a vehicle they just tell us to bring it in and the issue is always quickly resolved. That’s the kind of service you need in this business!“

Volvo’s Regional Coach Sales Manager, Duncan Crosby added, “We’re delighted by AAA Coaches’ continued loyalty and have no doubt that their new client will be as pleased with their new Volvo as all the others are.”

Established over 20 years ago, family-run AAA coaches are the leading coach hire company in the Edinburgh area. The company undertakes a wide range of work from weddings and school contracts to tours of Scotland and the UK.
