The family owned and run company, based in Neath, purchased the new 57 seat coaches to satisfy the capacity needs of additional contracts and tour operations.
Director of DJ Thomas Coaches, Lee Gibson, said: “We have been extremely happy with previous Volvo 9700s which have performed well on our tour programme where we require coaches we can rely on. The 9700 meets all our requirements and this convinced us to specify Volvo once again.
“Our drivers like the vehicle because of the handling and the accessibility of the dashboard controls. The 9700 is a stylish and aesthetically pleasing coach and we know that the B11R chassis offers excellent fuel consumption.

DJ Thomas Coaches is a family owned operator which has been in business since 1954. Initially offering coach hire services, in 2011 the company launched a coach holiday business which operates an international tour programme.
