“In addition, Retail Sales Manager, David Porter, understood our needs as an operator and gave us valuable input when it came to choosing and specifying our new coaches.”
The Jonckheere JHV2 was launched late last year and offers a more contemporary feel, while the Volvo B11R chassis cuts unnecessary operational costs due to its highly efficient Euro 6 engine. The coach has a passenger capacity of 53 and is fitted with an onboard toilet.
David Porter added: “Edinburgh Coach Lines is very well known for its quality service and we are pleased to be able to supply them with their latest vehicles. The B11R chassis combined with the styish interior and exterior of the JHV2 will be sure to leave Edinburgh Coach Lines passengers impressed and happy.”
Based in Leith, Edinburgh, the company has been operating for almost 40 years and has since become one of Scotland’s premier coach operators and specialises in school contracts, wedding and corporate hire.
